Your Privacy Choices

This page is for California residents and explains how to exercise your privacy rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). For the underlying policy, see our Privacy Policy.

You do not need a Mindwand account to submit a privacy request — but to verify your identity we may need to match the information you provide against an account on file.

Mindwand does not sell personal information for money. However, California law defines "sale" and "sharing" broadly enough to include disclosing identifiers (such as a device ID, hashed email, or cookie ID) to advertising partners like Meta or Google for the purpose of cross-context behavioural advertising. Where we engage in any such disclosure, you have the right to opt out.

To opt out, email support@mindwand.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share — California" and include:

• The email address associated with your Mindwand account (if any).
• A confirmation that you are a California resident.
• Any specific cookie or device identifiers you want excluded, if known. (Most users do not need to provide this — we will apply the opt-out to the account-level identifiers we hold.)

We will process valid opt-out requests within 15 business days, as required by California law, and confirm completion by email.

Mindwand recognises the Global Privacy Control browser signal. If your browser or extension is configured to send a GPC signal, we will treat that signal as a valid opt-out request from sale or sharing on the device and browser through which it is sent, as required by California Attorney General regulations.

GPC works at the browser level — to apply the opt-out across all your devices, please email us as described above.

California residents also have the right to:

• Know what categories of personal information we have collected, the categories of sources, the business or commercial purposes for which we collected it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
• Access the specific pieces of personal information we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate personal information.
• Delete personal information we have collected about you, subject to legal exceptions.
• Limit the use of sensitive personal information to what is necessary to provide the Service.
• Non-discrimination — we will not deny service, charge a different price, or provide a different level of quality because you exercised your CCPA rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@mindwand.com. We will respond within 45 days (extendable once by another 45 days where reasonably necessary, with notice to you). You may also designate an authorised agent to make a request on your behalf — they will need a signed written permission from you and we may need to verify your identity directly before processing the request.

Residents of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and several other jurisdictions have similar privacy rights under their local laws (such as GDPR Articles 15–22).
