Overview
We want Mindwand to be worth your money. If it isn't, we'd rather you have your money back than be unhappy. This page sets out the three refund routes available to every paying user and the additional withdrawal right available to consumers in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom.
These rules apply in addition to any rights you have under applicable consumer law. Nothing here limits a statutory right you may have in your country.
For background on how billing works and what cancellation means, see our Subscription Terms.
1. 48-Hour Satisfaction Guarantee
If Mindwand isn't for you, you may request a full refund of your initial purchase within 48 hours of the transaction, provided you have completed fewer than three (3) lessons.
This applies to the first payment you made on the account — trial conversion, monthly fee, or upfront longer-period payment. It does not apply to renewal payments after the first paid period.
2. 14-Day Non-Usage Refund
If you purchased a subscription but have not yet used the Service, you may request a full refund within 14 days of the purchase date. "Not used" means you have made no progress in any course beyond the initial onboarding flow.
This route is intended for users who paid but never came back. It does not require a reason. The 14-day window is measured from the date of the most recent charge that is the subject of the refund request.
3. 21-Day Money-Back Guarantee
We're confident that if you put the work in, Mindwand will pay off. To back that up, we offer a money-back guarantee for users who genuinely engage with the course and still don't feel it delivered.
You qualify for this refund if all of the following apply:
- You have completed at least 21 days of your chosen course, with at least one lesson finished on each of those days.
- You request the refund within 7 days of completing day 21.
- You tell us briefly what you tried and why it didn't work for you. A sentence or two is fine — we use it to improve the course, not to litigate your refund.
This route is in addition to the 48-hour satisfaction guarantee and the 14-day non-usage refund. It exists for users who gave Mindwand a real chance and felt it didn't earn its keep. Lesson-completion records are taken from the activity log on your account; you may request a copy of that log at any time by emailing support@mindwand.com so you can verify your eligibility before requesting a refund.
4. EU & UK Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer based in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a contract for a digital service within 14 days of entering it, without giving any reason. This right is separate from the refund routes above and exists by operation of law.
Important — loss of right: when you start using the Service before the 14-day withdrawal period ends, you expressly agree that the digital service is being supplied to you immediately. Under Article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (and equivalent UK legislation), this means your statutory right of withdrawal is lost for content that has already been delivered. If you exercise withdrawal partway through the period, we may deduct an amount proportional to the Service already supplied.
How to exercise the withdrawal right
Send an unambiguous statement of your decision to withdraw to support@mindwand.com before the 14-day period expires. You may use the form below, but you don't have to.

5. How to Request a Refund
Email support@mindwand.com from the email address on your Mindwand account. Include:
- The date of the transaction you'd like refunded
- Which refund route you are using (48-hour satisfaction, 14-day non-usage, EU withdrawal, or other)
- The last four digits of the card you used, or your PayPal email, so we can identify the charge
You don't need to explain why. We won't make you justify it on a call. A short email is enough.
6. Processing & Timing
We aim to respond to refund requests within one business day. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.
Once approved, the refund usually appears in your account within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer. Cancelling a subscription is separate from a refund — cancellation stops future renewals but does not on its own return money you have already paid.
7. What's Excluded
We may decline a refund request in any of the following circumstances:
- None of the refund routes above apply (the 48-hour, 14-day non-usage, or 21-day money-back windows have all passed) and no statutory withdrawal right is in force.
- The request is for a renewal payment (after the first paid period) where you continued to use the Service before requesting the refund.
- Financial-grounds refunds outside the refund routes above. If your request falls outside the 48-hour satisfaction guarantee, the 14-day non-usage refund, the 21-day money-back guarantee, and any statutory withdrawal right, we will not issue a refund based on financial reasons alone — including inability to pay, regret about the cost, unexpected charges to your card, or the Service failing to produce any specific financial outcome for you. Mindwand is an educational platform and explicitly does not promise or guarantee any financial result (see Section 14 of our Terms & Conditions). If you can no longer afford the subscription, the right path is to cancel renewal — see our Subscription Terms. This exclusion does not override the 48-hour or 14-day no-questions-asked routes above.
- We have evidence of fraud, abuse, account sharing, or violation of our Terms & Conditions.
- The same account has already received a refund in the past 12 months. We issue at most one refund per account per 12-month period.
- The purchase was made through an authorised third-party reseller, in which case their refund policy applies.
Where a refund is declined, we will tell you the specific reason and the consumer law route still available to you, if any.
8. Chargebacks
If you have a refund question, please email us first. We'd rather solve it with you directly than through your card issuer — it's faster for you and cheaper for us. Initiating a chargeback before contacting us may result in the account being suspended while the dispute is investigated, and we will share our records of your account activity with your bank as part of the dispute response.
Where a chargeback is initiated in bad faith — for example, after the Service has been substantially used or after a refund request has already been declined under a clearly stated rule on this page — we reserve the right to close the account, refuse future service, and recover the disputed amount through any lawful means available to us.
